Custom Frame Bag Design Information

We love measuring up your frame and showing you fabrics and fittings in person, but, if you are not local to Bristol you can follow the below instructions to create a template of your frame for us to work from.

Step 1:

Using a piece of cardboard slightly bigger than the triangle of your frame, Use masking tape to secure the card along the triangle framework of your bike. You can tape together bits of card if you don't have anything big enough.

Step 2:

Using a thin tipped pen draw along the INSIDE edge of your frame where you want the bag to sit. Draw around any obstacles i.e. bottle cages / suspension, allow room to accommodate any movement in these areas. Make sure you keep the angle of the pen the same all the way round.

It's also useful to mark on anything that would get in the way of a strap eg; Downtube shifters or Bosses, Cable stops and ports.

At this stage take a picture of your frame with the template attached and send that to us for reference.

Step 3: Check the fit

Once cut out please place the template up to the bike to check you are happy with the fit of the bag

All Custom bags are made with a webbing ladder to allow for multi-point fixing along the frame, we include 1m of one wrap Velcro to attach or you can add Velo type straps for an extra charge.

If you require Velcro tabs instead of a webbing ladder to secure your bike, please indicate on the template where you would like these Velcro straps to be positioned.

Our Custom Full Frame Bag comes as standard with two (right side/drive side) large compartment with internal velcro divider and a longer slender document pocket (left side/non-drive side).

The standard width of our bags is 50mm, please let us know if you require a different bag width.

If you're posting to us then transferring it onto paper so it can be folded up will make the postage cheaper. Please make sure to transfer everything over onto the paper copy, the more detail the better.

Don't forget! You also need to include your details written clearly on the pattern.

When we receive your template we will contact you via email to confirm fabrics and design. When we are both happy with the design, we have agreed a lead time and you have paid via bank transfer your bag will go into production!
